Looking at my past, patience was a skill that was needed to see a lot in nature. As an adult, in this society with so much distraction am I still able to withstand such a long amount of time looking at something slowly changing without leaving my position. The best way for me to visualise this was the result of watching ice melt. We are mostly patient when we are rewarded for something, for example looking at a loading bar or being stuck in traffic.
